Hatch Green Chile Veggie Tamales

These delicious Hatch Green Chile Veggie Tamales are made with steamed veggies (squash, corn, peas, carrots, green beans, and lima beans) and gooey cheese, which perfectly complement the taste and spice of Hatch Green Chile. 

We use a time-honored New Mexican recipe for our tamales. Fluffy masa made with stone-ground maseca (dried corn) is filled with a delicious blend of vegetables, cheese, and Hatch Green Chile. Each tamale is then wrapped and then steamed to perfection. Once steamed, these tamales will melt in your mouth. All of our tamales are handmade in small batches to ensure top-notch quality.

Our tamales come packaged in a dozen and are easy to defrost and steam or heat up in the microwave. For best results, defrost the tamales in the microwave (45 seconds per tamale) to start.

Steamer: Place the thawed tamales in a steamer for 8-12 minutes.

Oven: Pre-heat to 325°F. Wrap thawed tamales in tin foil and place in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
